Sharp Electronics Corporation Business Planning and Admin Manager - Bilingual Japanese and English in Montvale, New Jersey
The Business Planning Manager is responsible for developing business plans by providing direction for new business strategies, assessing new markets, forecasting sales and analyzing business opportunities. This position will oversee achievement of business plans through strategic planning and budget control. This position also give direction and advise the staff member and field sales, marketing and administrator organization to improve the performance of organization.
Oversee and manage business planning and execution activity for Sharp business solution system/products, including revenue/profit target, P&L, short and long term business strategy, promotional activity or any tactic, organization structure, and whatever impact on short and long term business performance.
Develop and implement new category of business and related administrative function with inspecting and managing outsourcing partners. Strategize the new business model to expand over all business revenue and profit sustainably.
Oversee ROI and P&L impact of acquisition activity and addressing the new acquisition process to expand over all business revenue and profit.
Monitor sales pipeline and communicating with sales and marketing organization in the field on a daily basis to understand the business progress and market situation to execute the necessary action at the timely manner.
Work with senior management teams on a regular basis to formulate long-and short-term business planning and strategies, review the business performance, revise strategic plans and procedures, and solve problems, as necessary, relating to business solutions, systems/products management operations, in the United States.
Direct and advise the staff member and field sales, marketing and administrator organization to improve the performance of organization.
Review the financial performance of Sharp business solutions systems/products in the United States and then managing and directing budget preparation for senior executive review. Finalizing periodic business plans with senior management approval and then reporting for Sharp and implementing the target and activity in the field for execution.
Report the business progress weekly and monthly to senior management in United States and Japan
Act as a managerial liaison with relevant divisions of Sharp.
Other strategic management initiatives as assigned enhance business in the United States.
Must speak, read and write Japanese and English fluently
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong analytical problem solving skills
Accounting and financial analysis skills preferred.
Previous experience in copier industry preferred but not required.
Experience working with Dealer channels and direct operations.
Superior interpersonal communication skills.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Microsoft Office with advanced Excel, Powerpoint, Word skills required.
Up to 20% travel required.
