Sharp Electronics Corporation Sales Account Executive, Education - Texas in Dallas, Texas
Overall sales responsibility for the education (mainly K12) marketplace working directly with the end-user customer and/or through their preferred partner/reseller. Building and establishing relationships with end-user customers and channel partners. Your daily activity consists of visiting end-users/partners and creating awareness for Dynabook notebooks. You will work closely with a Dynabook sales engineer to provide customer/partners with roadmaps, special pricing, contracts, quarterly or monthly business reviews once business is established.
Execute a strategy to establish Dynabook notebook products within strategic education accounts
Establish relationships with reseller partners to identify, target, and develop the education territory to increase market share.
Achieve assigned quota for notebooks. Grow relationships at each account by going deep & wide and partnering at both the IT and departmental levels.
Drive the attach rate with your assigned accounts and achieve quota assigned for associated accessories.
Forecast account or channel demand and build a sustainable sales pipeline of revenue within targeted accounts.
Work closely with Marketing, Product Management and Product Development organization to continually refine and improve market position; interpret and translate voice of customer data to assist in development of messaging, sales tools, campaigns, promotions and necessary marketing plans.
Effectively utilize resources to solve issues and create solutions to customer needs and problems; manage customer relationships and customer satisfaction.
Satisfy all internal reporting requirements, forecasting, bid submissions, demo requests, and business/sales activity reports.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
BS/BA in Marketing or Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and related business experience.
General knowledge and experience selling to K-12 Market. Current relationships added bonus
Significant experience with IT product and solutions. Familiarity with a range of end user segments including Education, Government, and reseller markets.
Demonstrated track record of success in selling to various reseller channels including Distribution, IT Resellers/VARs resellers that serve education and government markets.
Skilled at customer relations; strong business planning and business plan implementation skills.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills; ability to persuade and negotiate on sales, service, contract, and other business matters.
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management application systems as well as complete familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
This position will work independently and virtual (home office).
Travel will be required.
