Sharp Electronics Corporation Regional Controller in Bellevue, Washington
Overview
The SBS Regional Branch Controller is responsible for the Management of Branch financial and administrative operations in multiple locations (Bellevue/Seattle and San Francisco). The Regional Branch Controller establishes proper processes and controls to ensure compliance with corporate directed policy and procedure. This role also serves as the senior financial and business advisor to Branch Leadership in multiple branch locations, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day business and in developing long term strategic plans.
This position can either be located in Bellevue, Washington OR Pleasanton, CA.
Responsibilities
Management of Finance related functions such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Accounting, and Inventory in accordance with corporate objectives.
Ensure accurate and complete monthly accounting close and preparation of financial statements for assigned Branch operations.
Responsible for the financial integrity of reported results of operations, and enforcement of corporate accounting policies and safeguarding of all branch assets in their region.
Develop business plans with the Regional Branch Management teams that are consistent with corporate objectives and local market conditions.
Responsible for budgeting and forecasts including variance analysis and trending.
Provide financial and operational analysis to Branch Management teams to enable better decision making. Develop and coordinate activities related to continuous improvement throughout the branch business.
Serve as primary liaison with Human Resources department and Division Accounting department on related areas.
Hire, train and manage all employees within the Regional General and Accounting group.
Ability to manage and develop staff in-person as well as remotely.
Qualifications
BA/BS in Accounting or related field, MBA or CPA
Minimum 10 years previous accounting experience in a corporate environment with demonstration of progressive responsibility
Minimum 7+ years of progressive managerial experience
Strong SAP experience preferred
Experience in managing remote staff preferred
Industry related operations experience preferred
Strong organizational, managerial, interpersonal, and communications skills required
Some overnight travel to other business locations required (Seattle and Northern California)

Compensation for this position
The compensation range for this role is $98,325-$180,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
